For three years, Turkish photographer, Ahmet Yasir Karakas, has been working on a labour of love - a fast moving, colourful timelapse film of Ankara.
The project took a further three more months in post-production before being released on August 6 this year.
Karakas, who has been an avid photographer since high school, said he could not find a good timelapse of Turkey's capital city, so decided to make one. The film, which pulses with light and energy, is a contrast to what Karakas calls 'the monotonous silent public servant lifestyle' in Ankara.
At 23, Karakas is a 3D animator, but has already made five timelapse films in his spare time, and plans to make more.
