CINEMAJLIS

Alserkal Avenue, Dubai

Project Chaiwala and Cinema Akil have partnered up to create Cinemajlis, a unique iftar experience that has transformed the cinema into a dining hall for the Holy Month. Fans of the homegrown chai diner can expect a specially created iftar menu with a special take on casual, family-style South Asian cuisine. This will be followed by an independent movie screening.

BUFFET TREATS AT ASATEER TENT

Atlantis The Palm, Dubai

Possibly Dubai’s best-known tent, the famous Asateer returns with a massive buffet offering, including lamb kibbeh, a shawarma station and mixed grill specials. There are also ten dessert stations, including a traditional Arabic live sweet-making station, hot favourites such as Umm Ali, as well as an ice cream station and a chocolate fountain.
